Honday Bay

a stunning bay located on the eastern coast of Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, Philippines. Known for its crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and abundant marine life, Honda Bay is a popular destination for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts.
Well-known islands in Honda Bay include Luli Island, Cowrie Island, Starfish Island, and Pandan Island.
Luli Island, short for “Lulubog-Lilitaw,” which means “sink and rise,” is named after its unique sandbar that disappears during high tide and reappears during low tide. Visitors can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing on the sandy shores while taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding turquoise waters. Cowrie Island, named after the cowrie shells found in abundance on its shores, is a tropical paradise with swaying palm trees, powdery white sand, and clear waters. The island offers amenities such as beach huts, picnic areas, and water sports equipment for rent, allowing visitors to relax, swim, snorkel, or indulge in various water activities like kayaking or jet skiing. Starfish Island, as the name suggests, is famous for its abundant population of starfish. With its shallow waters and vibrant coral reefs, it is a haven for snorkelers and divers who can observe an array of colorful marine life, including tropical fish and, of course, starfish. The island is also an ideal spot for picnics and beachcombing.
